Love your oatmeal cookies? Here’s a Christmas version with chocolate, cranberries and a bite of cinnamon!
My friend, Liz, made these fabulous cookies for her family and I just had to share them on here for the holidays. Gotta love it when you can get all that delicious flavor and still make it healthy! Liz has two young kids and she’s wanting to make sure she feeds them all the right ingredients.
I’m loving her photography too! How crazy is it that this is only her second time shooting food? Kinda makes me want to pull my hair out! haha. Great job, Liz!
This recipe is from Amy’s Healthy Baking and Liz made the recipe as written but also added 1 cup of cooked quinoa – a genius and delicious idea!
I love that there is pure maple syrup in this recipe – so delicious, so Canadian, so Christmas-y! This is a recipe I will make as well (or bribe Liz to make an extra batch for me) because it’s easy and they will keep for up to a week.
What are you baking for the holidays? Share your creations with me on Instagram because you know I love seeing what goes on in your kitchen! Hashtag me #simplyfreshdinners and tag me @simplyfreshdinners so I can share with my readers too. Cheers!
Find the recipe here and don’t forget to add the quinoa!
