I love Thanksgiving because it allows us the time and opportunity to show those close to us just how important they truly are. Columnist Courtland Milloy once highlighted the importance of this day through this poignant quotation, “Nothing purchased can come close to the renewed sense of gratitude for having family and friends.”
I am thankful to you, my friends and readers, for your continued support. I enjoy blogging about food even more today than I did when I first started and I’m very grateful for that. I love this community of foodies and bloggers and I’m looking forward to spending some time in person with some of you in the new year!
I’ve put together a list of some of my recipes that you can use for your leftover turkey – soups, casseroles, pasta – all that fun stuff!
I hope everyone gets to put their feet up (if only for a few minutes!) and enjoy your friends, family and some fun. Happy Thanksgiving !

November 25, 2014 at 6:05 pmGOOD EVENING my friend! I love turkey leftovers and ours are usually so delicious because of the way I prepare the turkey. I just got our turkey breast tonight and will start to marinate it late tomorrow night or even early Thursday. French haricot verts, roasted chestnuts and roasted potatoes and PINK CHAMPAGNE will be on the menu!
Thank YOU for your support and friendship throughout the year dear Robyn. You mean a lot to me, and your care really got me through a rough year with the dizziness. THANK YOU!
