Coincidentally, your favorite dish this year was my favorite too and I chose to put this recipe on the cover. There are mostly new recipes in the book but I did include a few of the very popular ones from the blog because they were a good fit.
Now let’s see what you were enjoying most on the blog this past year….
3. Honey Crisp Apple Crostini with Whipped Goat Cheese and Candied Pecans
4. Thai Curry Butternut Squash Soup
7. Strawberry Rhubarb Lemonade
8. Roasted Cauliflower with Lemon-Parsley Dressing

December 29, 2016 at 6:22 pmMy friend, I am THRILLED for you! This is exciting, and I know you put a lot of time, energy and love into this book! Wow, it’s really here! How marvelous to see your work on the page! And these features of 2016 are also my favorites, with that cauliflower dish and the salmon bake being my favorites as well! WOW, we are on the threshold of a new year and may all your dreams continue to realize before your eyes. You have been such an influence in my life, and I’ll just say that thanks to technology, I have been touched by your goodness and friendship. Well then my friend, you must get on with your holiday plans! I have one more week off from school next week and I hope we can at least email. MUCH LOVE!

December 30, 2016 at 6:48 amAwwhh, thanks, Anita! It’s bee a lot of fun putting it together but I have to admit, I wondered at times if it would ever really get here! I learned a lot during the process and now the next one will be a breeze – lol.
You, friend, are a pleasure to spend time with. I love to laugh about life’s foibles with you and to share our passion for photography. I hope we can have some more time before you go back to school. Let’s try to make that happen.
I haven’t had much time for visiting but your Instagram page blows me away every time I get a peek! Stunning!!

December 30, 2016 at 7:12 amGood morning, friend! Well, your support has been a driving force for me to do my best in my photos. I try to make it a point to photography something each day (but dark, long winters make limit that dream now to the weekends) and now that I’m off from work, I can READ to my mind’s content!
Let’s make a chat possible for next week, only if you can. MUCH LOVE!

December 30, 2016 at 7:57 amAnd once I give you the ingredients, it would be fun to see what you might add to it; it’s a simple “template” of a recipe to which you can add some extra things. I forgot to get sherry since that’s a typical ingredient for mushroom soup, and instead of using the canned non-fat milk I use, you may want to try some real cream or crème fraiche. Who knows what the possibilities are!
