Hi everyone, it’s Tidbits time again and I hope you’ve got your fork ready and your napkin tucked in because I found a blogger with a great imagination and super skills in the kitchen.
Meet Christine from No Gojis No Glory (don’t you just LOVE the name!). I saw Christine’s popular Roasted Red Potato Salad on Google+ last week and I knew I had to see more! I liked it so much that I made it for lunch that very day. It was super delicious and had layers of flavours that will have me making it again and again.
In the past, Christine had tried all sorts of diets but came to the conclusion that eating healthy, wholesome foods is the best way to achieve her goals of ‘becoming healthier, eating well and living a good life’. Like many of us, she has a history of diabetes, cancer and heart disease in her family and believes that eating well is one of the ways to combat these illnesses. I agree wholeheartedly, Christine. It’s just plain, good, common sense, right?!
Christine`s blog is much like the food she creates – clean and beautiful. Her photos are mouth-watering and she has produced some truly original dishes that will have you running to your kitchen. This one caught my eye because I have been pondering a Portobello dish but wasn’t sure where to start. I no longer have to figure that out because Christine has the perfect answer.
Herbed Portobellos with Fontina and Grilled Vegetables – No Gojis No Glory
And this chicken dish – whew! – can you just taste the flavours? I am loving the fact that Christine can make a healthy dish look so decadent! Pineapple and chicken are such a great combination and grilling them only adds to the flavours.

I was truly thrilled to find Christine’s blog because we possess the same passion when it comes to healthy eating. Thanks so much for sharing with us, Christine. I’m really looking forward to seeing what you bring to us next!

Since we’re on the thinking side of things, don’t you just love LIBRARIES!
The leather, the smell, the solitude…
The architecture!

Ok, too much thinking is not good for my brain. Time to relax on the beautiful island of Santorini. How many of you have been to Greece? I have many friends who have travelled there and name it as one of their favourite destinations. Looking at this view, how could you want to go anywhere else?
A light lunch for two with a carafe of wine at the little table in the top corner, please!

Dreaming about Greece and luncheons and wine has me thinking about LOVE! May Baracat has written a short but touching post titled, ‘What You See When You Really Love Someone’. It’s worth the time.

So, we did some eating, some thinking, some swooning and finally, if you would like your ‘Awwhhh’ moment of the day, click here or on the pic for more. Have a good one, everybody!
