It’s Tuesday again, everyone! I hope your week is off to a great start.
If you love to create in the kitchen, this first site is definitely a must stop for you.
Amie Sue of Nouveau Raw has a great chart that offers suggestions for Flavor Profiles that Pair Together. Since discovering this, I’ve referenced it a couple times when I’m trying to determine if one of my crazy concoctions is actually going to be edible and I know I will be using it again and again. Thanks, Amie Sue.

My Sister’s Pantry is a great blog that promotes real food. Here is a an article on the study done by Environmental Working Group on the sugar content of children’s breakfast cereals. Take a look to see where your favourite cereal ranks on the list. Great info.

Does fast food leave you feeling sick?
If you’re trying to break your fast food habit, take a look here. The folks from Body Break Canada will convince you never to put another Big Mac in your mouth. It’s shocking to see what they are using to enhance taste and preserve food.

Here’s an article on 27 Medicinal Plants Worth Your Garden Space. More and more people are looking to the healing powers of natural medicine and, with a little research, you can do the same.

I love a fabulous shower – one that is modern, light-filled and has water coming from every direction – kind of like a car wash. Here’s my favourite collection of great bathrooms on Pinterest. There’s some rustic ones in here too because you just can’t beat an outdoor shower, right?
Simply stunning!
How fun is this?!
Would you start your day out dancing in a shower like this? It just makes me happy!
For the adventurous spirit.
This showers calls for champagne for two.

Lastly, my robins in the backyard are now officially parents!! I’ve had so much fun watching these little ones in the last few days. At first I couldn’t see anything but I could tell they had been born because mom and dad were busy bringing food to the nest. Now, after five days, the little ones (I count four so far) are popping their heads up and opening their mouths. Their eyes are still closed and I have to say, they look like adorable little aliens!
PS….My friend Debbie had a much larger visitor in her yard over the weekend. It seems that he came to host the BBQ!! Check out her furry guest here!
Have a great day, everyone.

May 27, 2014 at 2:40 amHello Robyn,
Congrats on your new Baby Robyns. Note my spelling… They are so sweet.
Thanks for the sharing the interesting articles and the one on medicinal plants is especially interesting to me. Wouldn’t you just love those showers in your home, we would never leave and go to work if that greeted us every morning. My boys still have 3 more weeks of exams, I don’t know if I will make it so will have to come here to your little calming space on the internet to escape my grumpy test taking kids. Take Care, BAM

May 27, 2014 at 6:40 amLOL, I feel like a mother, Bobbi. I’ve chased away the crows when they were in the eggs and I have a feeling they’re going to need close watching when they first leave the nest. I’m thinking I should buy some worms but I guess that’s going overboard, lol.
Wow, the exam period for the boys seems to go on and on! You need to take a little trip when it’s all over. I’m glad you enjoy your Tuesday visits, my friend. Love having you. 🙂

May 27, 2014 at 6:35 amteeehee…..I know the joys of robin parenthood; we have had many families come here to our garden to set up housekeeping, and are they EVER good parents! Look at the little babies…they are so funny looking at first! ROBYN! Those spices and the colors…so fresh and gorgeous! And I agree that some of the additives in fast foods are not to be consumed. I stay away from these types of things as much as possible because you can tell the difference!
Love those showers; our main bath has a huge walk-in shower and you do feel like dancing inside of it!
Wishing you a great Tuesday dear friend. Anita

May 27, 2014 at 6:43 amYes, I find they are fierce protectors, Anita, and very busy bringing food for all those hungry mouths! Don’t you love it when you can create the perfect blend of spices? I love this little helper that Amie has created to get you thinking about even more possibilities!
Nothing like a great shower in the morning and I’m guessing you DO dance in there, Anita!
Thanks for visiting, my fun friend. xoxo

May 27, 2014 at 6:14 pmI just love your Tuesday Tid Bits, always full of great information. Yuck on fast food!! I know these things, yet still crave it at times, shame on me 🙁
I would so love that outside shower, not to mention the seclusion you must have owning such a shower.
Although, we are in the woods ourselves, and I’m not real sure I’d like my Yogi or Boo Boo bear brothers watching me!
Much love, Debbie

May 27, 2014 at 6:41 pmThanks for sharing the spice link. We can get so creative blending spices. Your robins are so sweet and adorable. You have a first row seat to observe them. The bear is quite the addition to Debbie’s Barbecue. We have many wild critters around here, but no bears…so far! Every year, the orioles make their nest in our palm trees down by the pool. I discovered a wild turkey had also made a nest with 10 eggs. Enjoy your week Robyn. Lots of love….WW

Although, I’m not sure if I’m of the adventurous kind. . .maybe, but maybe not! 🙂 You have given me much to read for which I am thankful for and once I am done writing this comment I will be headed off to the cereal link and the fast food link to study up.
Thank you for sharing this helpful information with us – I greatly appreciate it! Hugs to you, my friend.

May 28, 2014 at 3:27 pmAwww such sweet birds! Those showers are amazing. I love the idea of an outdoor one for showering off the garden gunk but mine would have to be more private than the one in the trees : ) Off to check out the post on the healing plants.
