I love fruit salad. I love it for breakfast, lunch or a nice summer dessert. I’m always looking for ways to change it up and textures are important to me. I like to add a little crunch to dishes with a variety of nuts but decided this needed some heating up too.
I added some honey and cayenne pepper to the walnuts before roasting them and, wow, it really added some zing to the salad!
I used strawberries, raspberries, nectarines, mango and kiwi. If you’ve never cut a kiwi before, here’s a short and helpful video to show you how.
I loved this salad because it has colour, crunch, sweetness, and hot spice. Delicious!
