Welcome to Tuesday Tidbits, everyone. I love putting together this mishmash of fun facts each week for you and I especially enjoy introducing you to talented food bloggers!

This week we have Jennifer of Seasons and Suppers from Muskoka, Ontario (just a short 90 minute ride from me). I fell in love with her blog the minute I stumbled across it. The photography, the dishes, the fresh ingredients and her personable style all combine to make this beautiful site a place you’ll want to visit again and again.

Jennifer cooks with the ingredients available in each season and her hearty and healthy recipes will have you experimenting in your kitchen wanting to taste every delectable bite. Like so many of us, Jennifer is self-taught and has obviously been learning a lot along the way. I wish she had a cooking school because I’d be the first to sign up. I’d love it if she had a photography school as well – she is one talented lady. Each dish looks ready for a big scoop and taste – like the Chicken with Mustard below. Can you believe how delicious this looks?

Chicken with Mustard | Seasons and Suppers

I love that this is a one-pot dish. Jennifer suggests this as a quick and easy weeknight meal that can also be a lovely entrΓ©e for company. I agree! And who doesn’t love easy entertaining that looks like you worked in the kitchen all day!

mushroom-pasta690-1

Pasta with Mushrooms in a Creamy Mustard Sauce | Seasons and Suppers

I love the way Jennifer uses mustard in her creations and when you combine it with pasta and mushrooms, you just know it’s going to be magic. This is perfection! Hmmm, I wonder if I got in my car right now I could make it to her house for lunch? If I follow the plough, I could probably get there through all this snow!

Roasted Asparagus and Prosciutto Crostini with Fontina Cheese Sauce | Seasons and Suppers

Asparagus is one of my favourite Spring vegetables and I know I will be making this as soon as the first crop is ready at the farmers’ market. Jennifer suggests using it as a side dish for your Easter menu – such a bright and pretty addition!

I know you’ll fall in love with Seasons and Suppers as I have. Jennifer makes it feel like home with the stunning images, scrumptious creations and amiable, light-hearted writing. Thanks for sharing today, Jennifer, such a treat!BorderUntitled

I have a thing about home offices and like my other design preferences, I’m all over the map on which I like best.

I’ve always wanted to paint the walls a dark grey or black….I’m just not brave enough yet! If you’re anything like me, some days you like glitz and glamour, other days – just cozy. When all is said and done, I think I just want something that feels like home. The last one seems perfect. Which is your favourite?BorderUntitled

And one last thought on romance….. it dares us all to go to great lengths.

It’s my pleasure, Jennifer! I’m thinking it must be very cozy in your log cabin beneath all of this snow. I agree – cooking gets us through this season. Thanks again!

Okay, I totally agree with Anita when she says the mustard chicken is luscious! Wow, talk about divine πŸ™‚

And those offices are gorgeous! I love how each one is different, unique, and beautiful in its own right. The office with the very large painting on the wall drew me in.

Have a great Tuesday, my friend! Hugs to you!

I should be drooling over the delicious looking food, Robyn, but I am stuck on all of those tropical locales. We have so much snow here, I would settle for a warm little patch of green grass right about now! Ps…love that pumpkin announcement! Sweet!
