Hi everyone. Tuesday again! I hope everyone had a great Easter. This is another collection of some of my favourite stuff. It goes from beautiful vegan food to Earth Day projects and lots of fun stuff in between. First up: Shannon and her amazing salad from Yup, It`s Vegan.
Spring Vegetable Barley Salad with Mango-Red Pepper Relish
I found Shannon`s site at Food Gawker and when I explored her blog I was very intrigued. For the last year or so, I have thought about going vegan and but I`m very reluctant to give up my fish. For now I have been introducing more and more vegan recipes into my diet and I`ll get there soon. Shannon turned to vegan eating when she was battling a number of health issues and as a result is healthier than she`s ever been without any use of medication. In my opinion, plant-based eating is the way to go and it doesn`t mean you`re giving up delicious as Shannon proves with her inspirational recipes. Take a stroll through her blog, you`ll be convinced too.

Jenny from the The NY Melrose Family is another blogger I would like to bring to your attention. I am sure a lot of you know Jenny but do you also know that she has a number of extremely helpful social media tutorials? Jenny helped me when I first started on Google + and I found her information to be invaluable. I have had increased traffic from Google+ and have found it to be much more blogger friendly than Facebook. Jenny also has a Grow Your Google + Party on the first Saturday of each month AND a link party, Whimsy Wednesday, every week. She is one busy lady! But not too busy to help her fellow bloggers. She is always there to lend a hand and will answer any questions you have. She is one of many great people who ensure the foodie community is strong. If you want to get your numbers up, her site is the place to go.
Jenny is also a great cook and if you are a fan of kabobs, I saw 3 delicious recipes for them on her blog. With the grilling season upon us, you have got to check them out! Here’s a shrimp kabob that looks irresistible!

April 24, 2014 at 10:45 amGreat post, dear Robyn!
I believe I’ve already told you my daughter is vegan. She began avoiding meat, then she became vegetarian, next vegan! She doen’t eat, doesn’t drink, doesn’t wear any animal stuff!
I’m not so strong and I really doubt if I ever want to!
Those pictures you posted are absolutely amazing!
Have a graet day.
Mine is being miserable as I caught a cold and I’m feeling so bad!!!!!

April 24, 2014 at 4:27 pmLOL, I’m finding my way to a 100% vegan diet too, Nina, because I think plant based eating is the best for you. That said, however, I think plenty of folks (like yourself) eat very healthily while still consuming meat so it’s a matter of preference, I suppose.
So sorry to hear you’re not feeling well. I don’t think you will be down with it for long though – you are always a lady on the move! Hugs.
